your product mix?

R.B. & R. B.: The product mix proposed
by CNC Technics essentially relates to
filament winding machines, accessories
and applications. This corresponds to the
market's current expectations.
JCM: What are your main markets today?

R.B. & R. B.: Our main markets regionwise are India, the USA, South America,
the Middle East and Far East Asia.
Exporting is not totally new to CNC Technics' teams and, for a long time already, we
have sought out growth drivers abroad.
JCM: What share does the domestic market
represent? What are you relying on for your
growth?

JCM: Are you considering any partnerships or alliances, or do you rely on organic
growth alone?

R.B. & R. B.: We only have a partner-

ship with CADFIL (Crescent Consultants
Ltd.) for winding software and we are
not considering any alliance with anyone.
However, we are looking at opening a new
factory in America to cater to the market in
that region.

JCM: Do you think you will diversify in the

future?

R.B. & R. B.: We have plans to diversify
in the fields of robotics and pullwinding
machines.
Robotics is a trend that we cannot ignore,
and throughout the world, factories are
becoming robotised. It is a high-growth
market that represents a high potential for
our company.
JCM: What are your strong and weak points?
What challenges does CNC Technics face?

R.B. & R. B.: Complete in-house design
and manufacturing, lower overheads and
our high degree of engineering expertise
are our basic strengths. Our strong global
presence in over 23 countries along with
the high reliability of our machines augments our strength.
As you can see, we have a lot of strengths.
But we also have serious competition.
Therefore, we have to remain competitive
in terms of technology, service and pricing.

results in products with high strength,
low weight and high corrosion resistance, which find applications in the
following fields: water, oil and sewerage

storage and processing tanks, pressure
vessels for gas, petroleum, etc., underground tanks, storage/dispensing silos,
canisters for rockets, rocket motor
castings, torpedo components, electric

CNC filament winding machines are
designed and manufactured in various
configurations based on the application.
For manufacturing pipes or other cylindrical parts, a 2-axis winder is normally
sufficient, while a 4-axis machine is

required for tanks, vessels, etc., where
winding is needed on the end domes as
well. For more complicated, non-axisymmetric jobs, a 6- or 7-axis winder is
required.
So far, the company has sold more than
150 machines in more than 20 countries
worldwide, including the USA, Russia,
the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Qatar, Australia, the Netherlands,
Vietnam, Thailand, Kuwait, Dubai,
Turkey, Brazil, Venezuela, Singapore,
