Gorgi Krlev is an Associate
Professor of Sustainability on the Paris campus. In his research,
he deals with social entrepreneurship, social innovations and
impact. He has won numerous awards for his research, teaching
and impact work.
Brace for... impactful work with Kerstin Alfes.
Kerstin Alfes is a Professor and Chair of Organisation and Human
Resource Management on the Berlin campus. In her research,
she deals with strategic human resource management, employee
engagement, overqualification and volunteering.

Infranity, mécène du cours Green CFO
Infranity entame une collaboration avec ESCP Business School pour
une finance durable et interviendra dans le programme Master in
Management.
Dans le cadre de l'option de spécialisation dirigée par le Professeur
Christophe Thibierge et destinée aux étudiants de M1 et M2,
baptisée « The green CFO », Infranity partagera son savoir-faire et
son expérience à travers des exemples concrets, offrant ainsi une
illustration pratique aux élèves engagés dans cette filière financière.
Au cours de cette collaboration, plusieurs membres des équipes d'investissement
et de développement durable d'Infranity interviendront
dans le cours du semestre afin de partager leur expertise avec les
étudiants. Infranity pourra également proposer des sujets de mémoire
ou des stages aux étudiants pour mettre en pratique, au travers des
différents métiers de gestionnaire d'actif, les connaissances acquises.
De plus, des bourses dédiées à des étudiantes seront également
proposées afin d'encourager la parité et la mixité dans le monde
de la finance, établissant ainsi un lien fertile avec la nouvelle chaire
ESCP Women in Finance.
Happy International Women's Rights Day!
ESCP preceded the 2024 International Women's Day (March 8) - which
celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements
of women - and its campaign theme, " Inspire Inclusion, " by launching
a new chair " Women in Finance " dedicated to attracting, retaining
and promoting women in finance in December 2023.
" The participation of women in the workforce has risen steadily over
time, against a background of stability for men. As a result, in Western
economies, women and men increasingly begin their careers in
parity. Yet, top executive roles are still predominantly filled by men,
particularly in certain industries like finance. This trend is a major
hindrance for continued organisational growth and development, "
explain the Scientific co-directors of the Women in Finance chair,
Professors Almudena Cañibano and Marion Festing. " This Chair
will shed light on the reasons behind this phenomenon and how
to tackle it. Only by understanding women's experiences can we
develop the right tools to work towards a truly inclusive workplace. "
This chair seeks to create knowledge on the reasons for the underrepresentation
of women in finance and develop insights to increase
diversity and inclusion in this industry. The research projects supported
by the chair will explore the experiences and professional trajectories
of women working in finance, to identify best practices for attraction,
development, and retention. The aim is also to make the role of women
in this industry more visible to students and to spark the desire for a
career in this industry amongst young female graduates. " Inclusive
leadership, a cornerstone of ESCP, prompts us to reflect on the all
too modest representation of women in finance. We want to thank
the six founding companies (Amala Partners, Ardian, EightAdvisory,
Lombard Odier, Ondra, Vauban Infrastructure Partners) of this chair,
who, through their diversity, have chosen to support research on this
issue and contribute to the transformation of the prevailing model, "
adds Chairs and Business Development Director Pascale Pernet.
The Women in Finance chair also partnered with Femstory, a non-profit
organisation co-founded by two ESCP alumni, Julia Stadler and Cécile
Defort, for a mentoring programme. Together, we seek to empower
young women by pairing them with an experienced professional
with whom they can consult on career-related topics.
