to the world
of Sustainability
Well aware that sustainability is a great challenge in the business world and a real
concern for the younger generation, GEA Sustainability ESCP aims at shifting minds
towards more sustainable habits

Can you describe your association
in a few words?
GEA Sustainability ESCP can be seen as a
bridge between students and all the opportunities offered by the world of sustainability. Today we are present in almost every
ESCP campus, primarily based in Turin
and London, and we gather students from
various backgrounds and nationalities. Our
mission is structured around 3 pillars: greening, educating, and networking. Our very
first aim was to make our campus a greener place and to " plant a seed " in people's
minds to shift towards more sustainable
habits. We also put a strong emphasis on
education, from the organization of fun and
informative events to a very dynamic online
strategy on social networks. Additionally,
during our events, we provide students with
the opportunity to meet key players of a
green economy to build a community of
responsible leaders.
What did this action / project bring
to you?
As a member of GEA Sustainability, I am
very proud of how far we went in such a
short amount of time. Many exciting projects and events have been organized and
implemented so far by the entire team. This
was made possible by the commitment and
enthusiasm of each one of us. For example,
we have been able to build partnerships
with a variety of entrepreneurs and green
startups such as Heilbiz, a company offering
new shared-mobility solutions in city centers which have become our official sponsor

in October; or Staiy, a sustainable fashion
brand with whom we have organized an
online business game in November. Our
goal is to make sustainable habits more
accessible and to spread awareness about
it, and obviously, there is a strong sense
of accomplishment when more and more
people are interested in our content or
get involved in our events and activities.
A message to share with ESCP
Business School Alumni?
We are at a turning point of the environmental emergency, and most business
schools are already well aware that sustainability is a great challenge in the business
world and a real concern for the younger
generation. This is why we believe any student and alumnus has the capacity and even
the responsibility to promote sustainability
as a " New Normal " in any field or sector
they will work in. Additionally, alumni from
business schools are now among the most
empowered individuals to bring about these
changes in society at large, and the world of
sustainability also offers many opportunities
that are yet to be seized, as many companies
are trying to transition and to offer more
sustainable products and services. This is
why GEA Sustainability has been created,
to remind you that we are the ambassadors
of the future we want to live in, and no one
else will implement the changes we want to
make.
