"Stand up for a sustainable world". We
were very happy to welcome such high
level speakers such as HRH Prince Albert
of Monaco as well as the former president
of Mauritius Dr. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim,
President of the Republic of Mauritius
(2015-2018) as well as Prof. Jaideep
Prabhu from Cambridge to mention just
a few. We will be continuing this series of
talks in 2020. We consider it crucial, as a
leading Business School, to highlight the
stakes of climate change and to underline
our commitment to a sustainable world.
Otherwise, in Paris, in the next weeks,
we will be launching 2 new exciting programs. First a certificate in Leadership
and Coaching aimed at the Francophone
market which will be aimed at senior
executives wanted to either transition to
coaching in their careers or reinforce the
coaching element in their leadership style.
We are also very excited about the launch
of a new Global Executive PhD program.
This program will build on the existing
PhD (in Arts and Management) which
already exists in partnership with TsingHua, the prestigious Chinese University.
This new program will be focusing on
the "post-EMBA" market i.e. senior executives and managers who have already
completed an advanced management or
general management degree (Executive
MBA and full-time MBA) and who wish
to move the next level in their organization and become thought leaders and
catalysts of change through research. We
are delighted to have Professor Pramuan
(Dean of Research) leading the launch
of this program. Otherwise, this year, we
would also like to increase the visibility or

our overall portfolio of programs in each
campus and local market.
It is important for ESCP to develop new
markets for our products and 2019 saw
us make our first foray into Africa with a
Masterclass in Abidjan coupled with an
Alumni networking event in the residence
of the French Ambassador for the Ivory
Coast. These initiatives were a great success with more than 100 people present at
our masterclass and a lot of interest generated in our programs and in our Executive
Masters in International Business (an
online program developed but our Madrid
campus). This has encouraged us to continue our efforts. We will be organizing an
event with Philippe Gabilliet and Bertrand
Moingeon in February in Tunisia in
February. We are looking forward to welcoming more and more African based participants onto our programs in the months
to come and to increasing our presence on
the continent.

How is ESCP Executive Education
responding to the strong
demand for digital programs ?
ESCP Executive Education needs to be at
the forefront in this area and be capable
of offering cutting edge online and digital content to both our B2B and the B2C
clients. As I mentioned above we recently
won a large contract with Orange which
combined both onsite learning with a
significant, interactive, distance and digital learning component. We will continue to see these types of programs being
requested and we are ready to reply to
this demand. We have launched, and are
continuing to develop, a series of programs
"Skill First" developed in collaboration

with our partner First Finance. These
programs were co-constructed with our
corporate partners to be sure that we
provide important and relevant topics
such as big data, digital transformation,
design thinking and international management. On the B2C side, we are revamping and improving our online General
Management Program (GMP) and at the
same time using this improved product to
launch an online track of the highly successful EMBA.

What does the Executive
Education mean for Alumni ?
Alumni of ESCP have a fantastic network
of more than 60,000 alumni throughout the
world. I know that the Alumni Association
is constantly working on developing its
services and offers to all graduates of ESCP.
Lifelong learning is a priority for Executive
Education and ESCP and we want to
accompany our graduates throughout their
career. ESCP has recently made the decision to offer a 30 % discount to our alumni
on all (non-partnership) degree programs. On the Executive Education side,
in 2019 we have launched an "Executive
Community" group on LinkedIn which
is open to all those who have taken an
Executive Education program with ESCP.
Here we provide masterclasses, workshops
and webinars run both by our faculty, and
former participants, in order to provide
the opportunity to keep updated with
latest business trends. It's also ideal for
networking with individuals who at a similar stage in their careers throughout the
world. This network is also of course open
to all ESCP graduates so please feel free to
join us!
