Airborne and TenCate long term agreement for satellite solar array systems
TenCate Advanced Composites, a supplier of composite materials for high performance aerospace and industrial applications, and Airborne announce the signing of a long-term supply agreement for advanced
thermoset composite materials. Airborne will use the composite materials supplied by TenCate to create
the substrate panels of the Advanced Rigid Array (ARA) Mk4 solar array system for satellites. The ARA Mk4
technology, developed by Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands in close cooperation with Airborne, will
be deployed on solar arrays for European Space Agency (ESA) missions. The agreement covers the supply of
unidirectional thermoset prepreg tape and fabric materials from TenCate's European Centre of Excellence for
thermoset systems in Langley Mill (Nottingham), UK.

Airbus and China to enhance cooperation
in aviation and aerospace
Airbus and China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU) on aviation and aerospace, further enhancing a spirit of
cooperation. The MoU was signed in Berlin by Fabrice Brégier,
Airbus COO and President of Commercial Aircraft, and He Lifeng,
Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission
(NDRC) of China. The MoU strengthens and deepens mutually
beneficial collaboration between Airbus and Chinese aviation industry in various fields. Based on an already established solid foundation, Airbus and China will support the development of engineering
skills and technology innovation in China and also promote the integration of Chinese suppliers into Airbus' global supply chain.

Faurecia to develop and manufacture fuel cell tanks for
electric vehicles with Stelia Aerospace Composites
Faurecia announces it has acquired an exclusive access to the intellectual property and process know-how of composite hydrogen
tanks from Stelia Aerospace Composites. With the support of Stelia
Aerospace Composites, the company is able to design, industrialize
and commercialize high pressure hydrogen tanks made of carbon
fiber composites for fuel cell electric vehicles.
Fuel cell technology is a long term electric vehicle solution which offers increased autonomy (over 500 km) and quicker refueling time
compared to battery electric vehicles. By 2035, Faurecia estimates
that 5 million vehicles equipped with fuel cell technology could be
in production. Carbon fiber composite is the ideal material for hydrogen tanks which have to withstand the high pressure (700bars)
whilst being as light as possible.

This acquisition complements the investment that Faurecia recently made in Ad-Venta, a specialist in pressure valves for efficient and
safe hydrogen storage. Ad-Venta developed a reliable and compact
valve which allows pressure management from 700 to 10 bars for delivery to the fuel cell.

LM Wind Power announces new factory in China
The new facility will be located in the Baodi district in the north eastern part of China, 40 km from LM Wind Power's existing plant in
Tianjin that was established in 2001 as the first foreign wind indus-try company in the area.

The Baodi facility will be LM Wind Power's fourth Chinese blade plant
and the company's 15th worldwide. LM Wind Power expects to create
500 jobs and start production in July 2017. LM Wind Power currently employs 2,300 people in China distributed across three blade manufacturing plants in Tianjin, Qin Huang Dao and Jiangyin and offices in
Beijing and Shanghai.

Clariant and Huntsman to merge
The merger of equals aims to create a global specialty chemical company with approximately $20 billion enterprise value at announcement.
The merged company will be named HuntsmanClariant. On a pro forma 2016 basis, the combination of both companies will create a leading
global specialty chemical company with sales of approximately $13.2 billion, an adjusted EBITDA of $2.3 billion and a combined enterprise value of approximately $20 billion at announcement.

The combined entity will benefit from each other's strengths. It will have
an improved growth profile in highly attractive end markets and geographies. HuntsmanClariant will leverage shared knowledge in sustainability and boast a much stronger joint innovation platform. This will enable the development of new products in order to deliver superior returns
and drive shareholder value.
