engineering and metrology, which will be of interest to MrO organisations. - CTL Asia, a joint venture laboratory between CTrM and CTL Tastail Teo of Ireland that was created on 11 February 2010. The laboratory conducts testing activities for aero and non-aero test panels. Its priority is to offer competitive costs compared to other testing labs in Europe and Asia.

State-of-the-art equipment and services
For all practical purposes, thanks to the experience accumulated over the years, the group can be considered as a centre of excellence, given the many certifications it has already received in composite engineering and aircraft services, its two core businesses. In the field of composite manufacturing and assembly, the group possesses skills and technologies for the production of major metallic and composite structural assemblies (including carbon fibre assemblies); structural carbon fibre bonding; and manufacturing, machining, assembly and non-destructive testing of composite components for the aerospace, non-aerospace and defence industries. In terms of composite engineering and design, CTrM and its group of companies have structural design, structural stress analysis, weight engineering, structural and material testing capabilities, but also CAd/CAM/CAE capabilities: CATIA 4.2.2, CATIA V5r14, MSC Nastran/Patran, Laminate Analysis Programme (LAP) and Solid Works. CTrM also conducts composite r&d programmes in a variety of areas such as 2d honeycomb chamfering process development, out of autoclave (OOA) prepreg processing, resin infusion and resin Transfer Moulding (rTM). CTrM Aviation also provides the general aviation industry with a range of services including aircraft leasing, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft avionics upgrade and modifications, structural modifications handling and hangar services for aircraft, and aircraft maintenance, repair & overhaul services. After 22 years, CTrM is not planning to rest on the laurels of its exceptional expertise. Its future business plans are not limited to the aerospace, defence and automotive sectors, as the company is planning to diversify into transportation, marine, industrial and wind energy.
