Its main objective was to introduce composite application into the local automotive industry. True to its objective, CTrM CE has successfully manufactured carbon fibre spoilers for the national car, the Proton Satria gT r3. Lotus Cars, UK, also awarded it a contract to manufacture a composite body shell for the Lotus Europa S. Under its new name and business directions, CTrM CE no longer focuses on the automotive industry but is now manufacturing highend composite applications for all market

segments; - CTrM Systems Integration Sdn bhd The Malaysian Aerospace Industry is making every effort to strengthen its presence in the global marketplace. Malaysia aims to be a major aerospace player in the global scene by 2015. As such, four focus areas namely parts and components manufacturing; maintenance, repair and overhaul; avionics and systems integration; and aerospace training; have been identified as the means that will drive the industry growth and bring social wellbeing to the country. CTrM SI was established on 27 Jan 2010 following the M’sian Aerospace Council (MAC) launch of an initiative to develop systems integration capability program for the royal M’sian Airforce aircraft. The government funded National Level project will be for a period of 5 years starting 21 dec 2009. UST will be responsible for the r&d, manufacturing and marketing of the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for the ASEAN and Middle Eastern markets. The UAS will be utilised for commercial and defence purposes. The idea of a joint collaboration in developing the local UAS was raised by the deputy Prime Minister during LIMA 2007, with a view to maximize limited resources and expertise in the development of local UAS; - Aerotech design Malaysia Sdn bhd (AdM), a wholly owned CTrM subsidiary that was incorporated on 3 February 2010 with the long-term goal to become an engineering centre of excellence, not just for Malaysia but for the entire SouthEast Asian region. AdM will focus on providing comprehensive engineering solutions that cover tooling, engineering design, stress analysis, manufacturing engineering, modification, repair and services related to composites in the manufacturing sector.
