/11 Close up on construction / The latest site info in Seine Arche of the Boulevard des provinces Françaises bridge public areas gain new life after the dismantling Epadesa took charge of rehabilitating the public land located on the scrap yard left when the Boulevard des Provinces Françaises bridge was taken down from October to December 2011. Scheduled for early April, the restoration did not impact the available parking spaces that had been reinstated after having been used during deconstruction. Dismantling the RATP workshops in June 2011, the bridge in December, and the old apartment building at 41 Boulevard des Provinces Françaises – currently underway until June 2012 – is part of the preparatory work in phase one of Cœur de Quartier (506,000 square feet, 47,000 m2). This project provides for the construction of 139 homes, 216 student rooms, a tourist residence of 105 apartments, 248,000 square feet (23,000 m2) of office space and 54,000 square feet (5,000 m2) of businesses by 2014. A network of site observers was established for this program. In case of emergency, Epadesa is committed to informing site observers so that residences can be notified as soon as possible. k For more information parvis François Mitterrand Epadesa is conducting the final development of Parvis François Mitterrand opposite the shops on Boulevard de Pesaro at the Nanterre-Préfecture RER exit. This work follows RATP projects in the Nanterre-Préfecture station (changes to the facilities and ventilation) and Epadesa developments in the parking lots of the Terrasses. The Segex/Setralec group is in charge of construction, which began in mid-May and will be complete at the end of August. Improvements include: • finishing the gutters, sidewalks, and bicycle path of Terrasse 14: installation of granite curbs, laying of asphalt and asphalt concrete, adding of light posts and urban furniture, etc. • finishing the part of the parvis at the foot of the Carillon building: installation of granite curbs, laying of asphalt, adding of light posts and urban furniture, various network construction, etc. • diverting pedestrian walkways (access in front of shops maintained). k For more information Final development of the public space on lot and of the park in rouget de lisle opening of the logis Transports parking The second level of parking in the Logis Transport residence, located in the Rouget de Lisle neighborhood of Nanterre, is set to open in June 2012. The park at the foot of the building and a playground will open to the public the same day.
