/4 News The Epadesa is officially created The Etablissement public d’aménagement de La Défense Seine Arche has officially been created on November 5th 2010, with its first Board Meeting. The elected VicePresidents are: 1st vice-president: Jean-Marc Michel 2nd vice-president: Patrick Jarry 3rd vice-president: Jacques Kossowski 4th vice-president: Jean-Louis Rouquette 5th vice-president: Philippe Juvin 6th vice-president: Jean-Claude Ruysschaert 7th vice-president: Aurore Gillmann 8th vice-president: Jean-Yves Durance 9th vice-president: Patrick Devedjian The public development establishment is directed by a general director named by the Minister of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Sea, in charge of green technologies and negotiations about the climate, and the Secretary of State in charge of housings and urbanism. These have ordered Philippe Chaix to this position on November 10th 2010.. k Find out more Philippe Chaix, nominated Managing Director k The Epadesa inaugurates its new website During the first Board Meeting that was held on November 5th in the new establishment’s headquarters, in Nanterre, Joëlle Ceccaldi-Raynaud has been elected Chairman of the Epadesa’s board of directors. Composition of the Board of Directors The Epadesa’s board of directors is composed of 16 members, distributed as follows: • Nine representatives of the local authorities : Jacques Kossowski, Mayor of Courbevoie, Philippe Juvin, Mayor of La Garenne-Colombes, Patrick Jarry, Mayor of Nanterre, Laurent El Ghozi, Councillor Delegate, in charge of the Higher Education and the «University City», Joëlle CeccaldiRaynaud, Mayor of Puteaux, Patrick Devedjian, President of the Hautsde-Seine’s department, Jean Sarkozy, General Counsel of the Hauts-deSeine’s district, Aurore Gillmann, Councillor at the Paris Région Ile-de-France, and Pierre Mansat, Deputy in charge of “Paris métropole” and of relations with the authorities of Ile-de-France in Paris. • A qualified person designated by the Prime Minister: Jean-Yves Durance, Vice-President of the chamber of commerce and industry of Paris. The Epadesa’s board of directors’ role is to vote the provisional revenue and expenditure, allow the conclusion of the agreements with the State, the territorial authorities and the public establishments, approve the accounts, fix the general orientations of the public establishments, approve the multi-annual programs and the list of the operations to undertake and their founding details, and approve the transactions. A new public development establishment means a new website. The former La Défense Seine Arche’s website has therefore been recreated including a new graphic design following the visual identity of the new establishment, an update of dynamic elements such as the interactive map of the Epadesa’s intervention perimeter, but also a re-writing of the contents and thus, a reorganisation of the topics (thematic access to the projects to come, under construction or finished).
