Exhibition Update Mode Lingerie heads on Hong Kong and Shanghai are increasingly proving to be the relevant hubs for major trade shows in Asia not only as concerns textile but increasingly also for intimate apparel. The success of the Mode Lingerie shows paves the way towards increased business and opportunities. Hong Kong Mode Lingerie The second edition of Hong Kong Mode Lingerie will be held at the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre on April 8th and 9th. Following the success of last year’s April edition, which counted almost 3,500 visitors from 42 different countries Eurovet, the organizer, is expecting increasingly positive results for this spring. The tradeshow will this year concentrate on fabrics and accessories putting together some 140 exhibitors, with an increase by 20% compared to the last edition. A networking evening will take place instead of the traditional fashion show, due to the absence of the apparel brand section. New to this 2008 edition is the creation of the Eurovet Asia subsidiary set up on November 1st 2007; based in Hong Kong, this recently opened office will respond to the increasing number of international and Asian customers interested in the region, as well as strengthen links and relationships with local key players and institutions in the area. This year, the increased promotion towards America is expected to attract a larger number of leading brands, major retailers and manufacturers to boost business opportunities with Interfilière Asia’s exhibitors. Intima Asia’s special promotion The Asian edition of Intima, on the market for more than 14 years, is bringing its latest publication to the show. As a partner of Eurovet at both events, the magazine is distributed free to pre-registered buyers and VIPs thanks to a coupon allowing them to collect their own copy at the Intima/ Network Dessous area.
