Event Lingerie Française on parade ontemporary French lingerie designers are inspired not only by the culture and style of France, but also by the innovation of European textile manufacturers to make comfort both beautiful and universally appealing. A recent exclusive show held at Hazelton Lanes in Toronto offered its audience the opportunity to see for themselves the exquisite creations of French designers, in a recreation of the bedroom. Lingerie Française brands Antigel, Chantelle, Elixir, Empreinte, Lejaby, Lise Charmel and Passionata showcased their latest collections, also allowing a special sneak peek at what’s to come for Spring 2008, providing the perfect opportunity to view the trends for the busy lingerie shopping seasons of Christmas and Valentine’s Day. Attendees were treated not only to sensational lingerie, but 15 stunning models, enchanting music and numerous accessories to help narrate each label’s story. The 30-minute fashion show featured something for everyone; from the couture-quality look of Lise Charmel to the provocative, yet irreverent Antigel; and from the comfortable beauty of Chantelle and Lejaby to the wit and flair of Passionata. Two labels, Empreinte and Elixir, are renowned for fitting more voluptuous figures, while remembering that sensuality and style matter at any size. And the French je ne sais quoi didn’t end on the runway; the show was produced by Promincor, which promotes French lingerie around the world, and Run Productions, known for adding a French flair to all its events. Other show partners and sponsors included the French Trade Commission, Hazelton Lanes, Andrews, Browns Shoes, Elle Canada, Yves Saint Laurent, Evian, Corby Distilleries, Poulain Chocolate, Baccarat, and Leoni Hair Design.
