Business News New Empreinte partnership Following suit to a number of prestigious high-end international lingerie brands, the French brand Empreinte is also looking to consolidate its place on the North American market, identifying it as a territory worthy of major investment. And in so doing it has chosen Fabrizio Investment Corp. as the ideal partner to serve their interests and spread the brand’s popularity throughout the North American continent. The Best of Intima spoke to Paul Fabrizio, Managing Director of the newly founded Empreinte North America to find out more about this venture. Your partnership with Empreinte is effective as from January 2008. Can you tell us exactly how the partnership is structured? Empreinte North America is a subsidiary company of Empreinte France (mother company).Empreinte products were in the past distributed throughout North America by Fabri Intimo run by the Fabrizio family. Because of Empreinte’s growing popularity, image and sales in our industry, we decided to create this partnership between Empreinte France and Fabrizio Investment Corp, to better serve our customers. As a business we have always prided ourselves in offering our customers the best in terms of brands and collections as well as ensuring that we are doing everything to provide a customer service at its best, building a solid relationship with the stores we cater to and living up to their expectations in every sense. With the rapid growth of Empreinte, we felt the creation of this subsidiary company was the best way to continue offering this quality of service to our customers. As managing director of the new company I oversee all aspects of the company and everyday operations. Our sales manager is Iva Fabrizio. What are the strong points of Empreinte and more specifically who does it cater to? Empreinte’s name basically says it all: ”made to measure”. The support and fit of Empreinte is second to none. Its quality, comfort, and fit are superior to any product we have seen. Since its creation in 1946, Empreinte has always followed the way of the ”maintained sensuality”, with the will to offer a maximum of PAUL FABRIZIO, MD EMPREINTE NORTH AMERICA comfort and seduction to women, and more specifically the fuller figure/fuller busted women. In a market where the bigger cup sizes are more and more represented, Empreinte defends more than ever its special positioning by offering bras/lingerie adapted to the fashion and desires of women. Empreinte produces an assortment of high fashion, basic, and t-shirt bras for fuller busted women of all ages as well as being the only brand dedicated exclusively to the larger bust and developing up to 40 different sizes and depths for one style. In fact our size range runs cup sizes C to G and back sizes 30 to 48. What areas will your sales network cover? Nothing has changed regarding territory. As did Fabri Intimo, Empreinte North America will cover all of Canada and the Unites States of America. We have a great sales team of 7 agents working across both countries who are extremely committed to their customers and always looking to offer them the highest-quality items that the luxury lingerie market has to offer. What is the future of Fabri Intimo? With the creation of Empreinte North America, Fabri Intimo is no longer associated with Empreinte. However it will continue to operate as a family-owned business, being an Importer/distributor of mid to high-end European bras and lingerie. Our present lines consist of Argentovivo (Italy) and I.D. Sarrieri (Romania). Fabri Intimo will be looking to expand and work with new companies in the near future.
