The newly restored landmark hotel personally invited Marlies Dekkers to join their new retail center for luxury , romance and elegance. Single handedly designing the 1500ft2 space Marlies Dekkers inspirations and philosophy are evident throughout the interior down to the wallpaper a romantic print from her lat, est collection. The store is designed to take customers on a journey into the world of Marlies Dekkers and as finishing touch a special soundtrack has been commissioned to complement the concept and theme of the store. “I’m crazy about hotels and the secrets and stories they can tell. And what better place to start than the New Y Plaza if you want ork Marlies Dekkers to conquer America.” Marlies Dekkers has successfully operated her own branded retail stores over Europe and Asia for the last ten years and is proud to launch this new flagship store in its prestigious Fifth Avenue location. From Paris to Bangkok, passing through Berlin and Cologne, Marlies Dekkers stores never cease to charm and seduce both men and women. Pull-In opens in Los Angeles Following the opening of stores in New Y and Miork ami, the fast rising French brand specialized in fun underwear and beachwear continues its expansion in the US with a new store in Los Angeles which opened last summer. With a sales area of 1070 ft2 the store plays on a sleek yet cozy style creating a welcoming atmosphere which focuses on the brand’ emblematic cols ors – black and silver - as in the black lacquered walls and the chromium-plated fixtures. The furnishings combine black leather, brushed aluminum and black glass while the floor is in a light grey resin and the encased spotlights help highlight the colorful patterns on the items exhibited. The new store brings the brand’s total retail network to eight locations in the US and France. 38
