The move felt right for Sharon and Patti who declared that “a mall is too impersonal, we don’t want customers to just pass by on the way to the food court but we don’t want them to have to search for us either.” Opened in 2011 over a 1900 ft2 space, the boutique has the same old-fashion feel, and the same bra fitting expertise and personalized service that made its initial reputation. The ultimate romantic atmosphere in pastel colors, the light sage green walls contrast with hardwood floors, and the rooms are separated by archways under the two custom-designed chandeliers shaped as champagne bubbles floating about. The product offer is displayed on racks and on tables covered with antique silk tablecloths beside freshly cut flowers. However, the new store focus has been the creation of the 800 ft2 bra fitting salon, which includes five dressing rooms with 10 feet drapery panels embroidered in rich bronze/gold materials. Also, the store’s new logo, a fleur de lys, with the bottom petal designed in the shape of a bra, brought the final signature change for 2011, making the store the definitive a la mode lingerie fitting experience in the mid-Atlantic region.
