Talent de Kelly Isaac Kelly Isaac’s journey is a perfect and original example of a successful and anti-conformist enterprise. A lingerie aficionado , with no design training, she has managed to make a business out of her passion for fashion. After balancing her time between New York and London for over ten years, and getting acquainted with the greatest brands in the field, Kelly had decided to develop her own style. It was with creative determination that she launched The Modern Courtesan in 2006, a luxurious and refined intimate apparel collection with seduction and a cheeky touch that never ceases to inspire quality. A small working team of ten, based in the United Kingdom, make it a point to stick to the traditional approach of couture: all pieces are handcrafted, with delicate silks, fine French lace and modern trims and cuts. The Modern Courtesan’s success led to the birth of the second Kelly Isaac brand, McLounge in 2009, where kimonos and camisoles come to life in light tulle and satin silk, in soft beige tones contrasting with intense shades of navy blue. For SS 2011, MC Lounge presents a new line exclusively destined to bridal wear, with pieces to wear underneath the wedding dress or to play with the popular underwear-outerwear effect.
