Exhibition update Interfilière Hong Kong Mode Lingerie Rebranded Hong Kong Mode Lingerie has become Interfiliere Hong Kong Mode Lingerie, clearly and exclusively dedicated to fabrics and materials, leaving the private brand section for the fall appointment in Shanghai. Intima Asia has gotten Eurovet Division Manager Valerie Lemant’s perception on the Hong Kong show’s new direction. 香 時 內衣 Intima Asia ‘面 料香 時 內衣 ’, 分劃 到 的 會。Eurovet 門 香 會的 向。 全 面 料領 , 理Valerie Lemant 向 This year, Hong Kong Mode Lingerie changed its name and its communication targeting exclusively to the sourcing of fabrics and materials, why have you decided to separate the lingerie VALERIE LEMANT products from the fabrics, an association that made the success of your major fairs in Paris? Initially, the Hong Kong show was launched on the same format as the Shanghai one: a fabric sourcing section, with brands in the Private Lingerie sector. After the first session in 2007, International Brands indicated that they could not invest twice a year on an Asian trade show, and they showed a keener interest in the Shanghai fair, as it helped them target a vast market. Most of them already had agents or distributors covering Hong Kong. This is why in 2008 we concentrated the Private Lingerie sector on the Shanghai event, and dedicated the Hong Kong one solely to fabrics, laces, embroidery accessories and OEM/ODM manufacturers. Our decision to communicate this change with the name Interfilière Hong Kong Mode Lingerie makes sense. First of all, because the show’s offer is 100% dedicated to fabrics, and the visitors & buyers profiles belong to …Interfilière! It is just essential to communicate the right concepts, to make it clear to everybody. Secondly, our strategy at Eurovet is to concentrate and capitalize on the Interfilière brand worldwide.
