Five years ago, when Gail and Alison opened Faire Frou-Frou the first time around, there was no niche boutique for designer lingerie that specialized in European brands. “We wanted to bring the designs straight from the pages of Vogue and Elle to the sales floor of our boutique,” explains Alison. Add to the lingerie selection, Faire Frou-Frou also carries a gorgeous selection of jewelry and apothecary products. This destination boutique also offers bridal and gift registry services as well as personal shopping, bra-fitting and studio services. The ultimate secret to this upscale boutique’s success is Gail and Alison’s communication power. They have made a name for themselves through their blog Frou Frou Fashion, which is now one of the top lingerie blogs worldwide, and they constantly communicate with their customers through emails and twitter.
