The ESCP Europe Master in Management ranked no. 1 worldwide by the Financial Times !

n September 20th, the Financial Times’ Top 65 Masters in Management ranked ESCP Europe no. 1 worldwide for the very first time in its history. What is the Master in Management? The Master in Management is what is commonly called in France the ESCP Europe «Grande Ecole» programme. This programme has benefited from multiple improvements and is now more than ever characterized by its strong international and personalized dimension. Indeed, every semester, each student can choose his or her place of study among the School’s 5 European campuses and the partner institutions on all 5 continents. Today, ESCP Europe offers 6 types of programmes: Master in Management, Master in European Business (MEB), Masters, Full Time and Executive Specialized Masters, European Executive MBA and programmes for Managers.

How does the Financial Times Masters in Management ranking work? The Financial Times rankings are based on 2 surveys. One is completed by the school in order to gather information about the programme, the faculty and the facilities. Meanwhile, another survey is sent to all Alumni of the class that graduated 3 years earlier to ask them about their careers, their satisfaction towards the programme and the perceived benefits. Congratulations to the Master in Management 2007 class whose answers have allowed us to achieve this ranking ! Why are we no.1 this year? «This first place is a great recognition of the unique European model offered by the School, the strength of the multi-campus structure open onto the world, and its Governance Chart», states Pascal Morand. What are the Financial Times rankings and why are they so important? Five Financial Times rankings are published annually: 4 elate to MBA, EMBA and Master in Management programmes, as well as executive education courses, whereas the 5th is an institutional ranking that ensues from the results obtained for the first 4 (Top European Business Schools to be published in December). Because of their criteria and the influence they have, the Financial Times rankings have become the international ranking reference. They allow for the comparison of the schools on many levels: they enable students to choose the school that best fits their objectives; they allow young graduates and companies to compare average salaries; they serve as a point of comparison for the participating schools.
