Berlin CP: Jérôme Arowas –ESCP-EAP Welcome to the Berlin campus of ESCP-EAP European School of Management, the oneof-a-kind business school with 5 locations of its own in Paris, London, Madrid, Turin and Berlin. Our transnational programmes distinguish themselves by a high academic standard, intense practice and rich intercultural experiences. I would like to present you this uniqueness owed to the European kind: ESCP-EAP is a business school with global aspirations and embodies also the diversity of cultures of European countries. ESCP-EAP is with 3.500 students, 120 professors, 600 expert contributors and staff from over 90 countries, the school of management for Europe. We can speak of Tradition and Innovation because the ESCP was founded in Paris in 1819 and is the oldest Business School in Europe. The EAP founded in 1973 was the first Business School with several campuses. With their merger in 1999 a unique Business School was born. Innovative research strategies are included in our doctorate programme in international business economics and flow to the teachings in all our programmes. But what makes Berlin Campus so particular in the ESCP-EAP Network? I could tell you about the German academic and scientific way of thinking about European business. Here we have around 30 participants in our PhD Programm. Some of them are supporting our professors in their research.
